Our Passion for Quilting
Quilters’ Treasure Chest™ (QTC) is a longarm machine quilting business located in the city of Rogers in the scenic northwest corner of Arkansas. It is owned and operated by Raija, a native of Nordic country of Finland, the land of hundreds of thousands of lakes and magnificent textile designs.
Although sewing since childhood, Raija didn’t get introduced to quilting until she was in her late twenties. Quilting took over Raija’s life very quickly, and owning a longarm machine became a dream of hers after quilting a bed size quilt using a traditional sewing machine. After years of research and having tried just about every longarm machine one machine stood out far above the others – Innova by ABM International. After quitting her corporate job Raija purchased this state-of-the-art machine to pursue quilting with all the passion and attention to detail she has been known for all her life! And she has never looked back. She chose to go with Innova's AutoPilot which is equipped with a computer so she can offer the very best quilting for her customers. Raija’s 26” Innova sits on a 12-foot table so it can handle quilts small and large with ease.
Charity and small acts of kindness are close to Raija’s heart. She reserves time to quilt for various charity organizations in between quilting for customers and herself.
Raija looks forward to both serving the community and to making customers' quilt tops with fast turnaround time into cherished pieces of art that will not only warm ones body but also their heart!
